Hareshaw Linn

There are a number of cycle routes around Tarset and its neighbouring areas including The Black GrouseThe Salmon, and The Red Squirrel
Hareshaw Linn is a breathtaking three mile walk to a wondrous waterfall with rare wildlife and plant life on the way. The route is available here
The Heritage Centre explores the agricultural, social, and industrial history of the local area through exhibitions and displays. 

Kielder Water and Forest Park

Kielder Water and Forest Park is home to England's largest forest as well as Northern Europe's largest man-made lake. 
Housteads is Britain's best preserved Roman Fort. A short 35 minute drive from Crackin' View it is an essential visit for those wanting an enchanting wander into Northumbrian history.
